• McKenna Norris

  Introducing McKenna Norris, the driving force behind MTN Equine as the owner and head trainer. McKenna's unwavering belief in positivity and the creation of a safe environment has not only shaped her teaching style but has also been the inspiration behind the very essence of the business.

  With a "horses come first" mentality at the core of her philosophy, McKenna ensures that the well-being and happiness of the equine partners are always the top priority. This dedication sets the tone for the entire barn, fostering a nurturing atmosphere where both horses and riders can flourish.

  McKenna's equestrian journey has been a diverse one, from competing at the National level in the Arabian and Quarter Horse world to ultimately finding her true love in show jumping. Her experiences across different disciplines have enriched her training approach, offering a well-rounded perspective that benefits students of all backgrounds.

  With her extensive background in competing in international FEI competitions and winning international hunter derbies, McKenna appreciates the unique beauty and challenges of jumpers, hunters, and equitation. She believes in instilling this appreciation in all her students, regardless of their chosen discipline, fostering a well-rounded and inclusive training environment at MTN Equine.

• Ali Levy

  Meet Ali Levy, the vibrant and dedicated assistant trainer at MTN Equine. With an amazing attitude and a passion for the sport, Ali is known for her unwavering commitment to bringing the next generation of riders to new heights.

  Ali's love for jumpers is undeniable, and her expertise in this discipline shines through in her training methods. She approaches each lesson with enthusiasm and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that her students develop the skills and confidence needed to excel in the show ring.

  While Ali's love for jumpers is clear, she may playfully express some annoyance for the hunters and the subjectivity that comes with that discipline. However, her focus remains on helping her students reach their full potential, regardless of their chosen discipline.

  With Ali by your side, you can expect top-notch training, a positive attitude, and a whole lot of fun along the way.

• Trevor Norris

  Trevor is a business partner, owner, and the BIGGEST fan of MTN, with a lifelong passion for horses that began in his own backyard. His deep understanding of extreme sports competition, International Mogul Skier, adds a competitive perspective that helps guide MTN’s goals and philosophy. As an avid adventure seeker with a strong business grasp, Trevor is dedicated to supporting not only our top-level string but also the development of young talent. He takes immense pride in being part of MTN and its mission to create a positive impact on both horses and their riders.

• Raul

  At MTN, we are fortunate enough to have a team with a ‘can do’ attitude and with an attention to detail that MTN is vey proud of. Raul is the team leader responsible for keeping the facility running smoothly, from keeping all pastures, landscaping the grounds, dragging the arena and lunging area, or fixing and repairing something around the property. He appreciates the hustle and bustle of the horses and is always on the phone ready to resolve any problem that may occur.

• Sara Cordero

  Sara Shier Photography is an integral part of our team, serving as our private photographer. She beautifully captures the essence of MTN and our everyday show and home life, while also offering emotional support when needed. With years of experience at MTN, Sara has immortalized countless moments we cherish - from emotional milestones, striking images that effectively showcase our sales horses to a visual history of MTN's evolution over the years. Her artistry, dedication, and friendship are invaluable to us.

• Sushi

  Just a mini Shiba on a big adventure. Equestrian diva pup from day one. She loves strutting her stuff around the barn and show grounds, it was obvious from day one how much she loved her time at the barn and shows. She loves her role as MTN’s support animal for the horses.
